Our Story
We wanted the trade to be kind not cut-throat.
Our team first met each on a client site while working for different companies, and realised that we had something in common: we were deeply disenchanted with how the building trade was run and genuinely believed that it was possible to treat people well, build with high standards, and do it all without charging an arm and a leg.
So, we decided to stop accepting mismanaged projects, poor quality builds, and burnt out workers as “just how this business works.”
We wanted to build something with integrity. A business that proves you can do excellent work, make clients happy, and be good to your workers at the same time. That is how we founded Dad and Daughter Building Co. - and named it so that we would always remember the kind of work we were committed to doing: the kind we would wish for our children.

We've done it all. We can fit your flat-pack kitchen, install new heritage windows, build you a brand new bathroom, and anything else. We like weird, quirky, and odd projects (they are exciting!) and we often get brought in on jobs that others found too complex.

Our Expertise
The Guys In Charge
For every project - big or small - you get our dedicated, fully-staffed team, with at least one expert in each of the major building trades. This means you never have to hunt for an additional tradesperson at the last minute, and we don't have to run through a rolodex of subcontractors because your build suddenly needs an electrician. Everyone you need is already here.
